Fungisorb - complex sorbent neutralizer of toxins
To prevent the development of mycotoxicosis in animals, it is advisable to use mycotoxin binders. Russian manufacturer "Sibbiopharm" Ltd. offers a complex mineral-organic mycotoxin binder Fungisorb.
Binder is used as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent for acute enteric infections, dyspepsia, various endogenous and exogenous intoxications. The mineral part of the binder is represented by activated sodium aluminosilicate and silicon dioxide. The organic part of the product consists of mannanoligosaccharides isolated from the cell walls of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Mycotoxin binder Fungisorb, produced by "Sibbiopharm" Ltd., registered by "The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance", has all the permits and an extensive evidence base for effectiveness.
Activated sodium aluminosilicate forms stable and irreversible covalent bonds with a wide range of mycotoxins (aflatoxins, ochratoxin A, T-2 toxin, DON, etc.).
Mannanoligosaccharides (MOSes) block the receptors of pathogenic microflora and remove it in transit through the animal's gastrointestinal tract. In addition, MOSes form a bond with aflatoxins; they are capable of binding zearalenone, and indirectly contribute to the inhibition of ochratoxins and T-2 toxin. In addition, the cell walls of yeast have an evident immunostimulating effect, stimulate appetite. Fungisorb also contains enzymes. Amylase reduces the viscosity of the chyme, thereby improving the availability of nutrients for its own enzymes.
Protease has fungicidal activity and prevents the development of mold fungi, increases the absorption of protein components of the feed.
The use of the adsorbent Fungisorb allows you to effectively bind mycotoxins in the body of agricultural animals, remove toxic substances, slags and other chemical compounds from the body. As a result, the digestibility of feed improves, the growth rate of animals increases and the mortality of young stock is reduced by 25%.
In 2015, in the young stock disease laboratory FSBIS "Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine of Siberia and the Far East" (Novosibirsk) a research was conducted to study the sorption activity of Fungisorb. Performance evaluation of the Fungisorb binder was carried out using methods of rapid quantitative determination using the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA test). The data is presented in the table.
The highest sorption activity of Fungisorb was found in relation to aflatoxin (95.5%), the lowest is in relation to ochratoxin (78.6%). The lowest desorption was observed with the action of Fungisorb towards aflatoxin (2.42%), the highest percentage of toxin release was observed with the action of Fungisorb towards fumonisin (11.62%). The average sorption activity for all toxins was 84.64%, the average desorption percentage was 5.11%.
Fungisorb is prescribed to animals in a group way in a mixture with feed at a dose of 0.5-1.0 kg / t of feed with a mild or moderate degree of contamination of feed with mycotoxins (with an excess of MPC up to 20%) or at a dose of 1.0 - 3.0 kg / t of feed with a high degree of feed contamination (with an excess of MPC above 20%). To ensure an equal distribution in the feed, gradual mixing should be used.
A good sorbent contains a wide range of sorbing components, both mineral and organic. Each component is designed for the sorption of certain groups of toxins, depending on the size of their molecules, on the charge of the molecules, etc. In addition, there are toxins with a hormone-like structure, it is extremely difficult to sorb them, therefore, to combat them, the sorbents must include enzymes from the category of proteases, which break the protein molecule into components that do not have toxic effect. It has also been found that many toxins have a depressing effect on digestive enzymes such as amylase and protease, and the introduction of these enzymes into the sorbents restores normal digestion in animal bodies
After comparing most of the mycotoxin binders on the market, we can say with confidence that mycotoxin binder Fungisorb which is produced by "Sibbiopharm" Ltd. is one of the best on the Russian market. When applied at the recommended dosage, it successfully tackles the main feed toxins, thereby preserving animal health and improving farms' welfare. When using the Fungisorb mycotoxin binder, our specialists not only offer a product based on marketing, but assess the parameters of the animal's body (blood biochemistry, droppings analysis, the state of intestinal microflora) and with these data select not only the product, but also its effective dosage. When buying products of "Sibbiopharm" Ltd you can be sure of its effectiveness, as well as a lower price in comparison with international alternatives.
