Market analysis
In Guangdong and Guangxi, low meat demand weakened hog prices.
Hog traders in Sichuan and Hunan were reluctant to engage in cross-province trade amid weaker hog prices. The lack of trade activities deterred the rise in prices.
Hog prices were stable to weaker in regions like Jiangsu, Shandong and Hebei due to weak trade.

Market forecast

Hog prices are seen weaker in the near-term as demand exceeds supplies.
