DSM and Novozymes introduce new feed enzyme

DSM and Novozymes have launched Ronozyme® ProAct, the first pure protease for the poultry industry meant to lower production costs. It meets the requirements of modern broiler feeding and reduces feed costs by maximizing protein utilization and improving nutritional value while enhancing animal performance.

With the product DSM and Novozymes confirm their venture in feed innovation.

Ronozyme ProAct unlocks the nutritional value of a large variety of feed proteins by complementing the activity of digestive enzymes, such as pepsin and pancreatic proteases.

Due to increasing cost of raw materials the poultry industry is under high pressure these days as higher feeding costs reduce profit and place stress on the entire industry. This new feed enzyme gives a way to actively minimize these rising feed costs.

Ronozyme ProAct is launched first in Brazil, and registration processes have been initiated globally. It is the newest feed enzyme in the great range of Ronozyme enzymes and is fully compatible with phytases and other feed enzymes commonly used.

The overall Ronozyme product range of feed enzymes is developed within the Alliance of DSM Nutritional Products and Novozymes and represents the most complete feed enzyme portfolio within the feed industry.
