China September soy imports at 4.13 million tones, up sharply on-year

China imported 4.13 million tonnes of soy and 205,870 tonnes of soyoil in September, up a sharp 119 percent on- year and down 40 percent on year respectively, the General Administration of Customs said Monday (October 27).

Palm oil imports during the month fell 31 percent on- year to 439,571 tonnes, it said.

China did not import any wheat in September, while the country did not export any corn in September.
