Eighty percent of Swedish dairy farmers plan to invest
In the next five years, 80% of Swedish dairy farmers are planning to invest in their business, according to 450 farmers surveyed by Svensk Mjölk.
More than 50% are planning to increase their number of cows, 58% to invest in improved production of feeds and 19% to add supplementary activities.
80% of the farmers expect profitability to increase in the next five years while 2% expect profitability to become significantly reduced.
