Bayer Animal Health improves swine expertise with new appointments

Bayer Animal Health has added three swine experts to the sales and veterinary technical services teams.

Joining Bayer Animal Health are Jim Lovin and Mark Hux as Technical Sales Specialists and Dr. Andy Holtcamp as a member of the Veterinary Technical Services group.

They will provide swine expertise to integrators, producers, and veterinaries responsible for managing swine herd health.

Lovin has more than 25 years of industry experience, both as a swine product sales representative and as an owner and manager of a farrow-to-finish operation, bringing hands-on knowledge of upper Midwest swine operations.

Hux specialises in working with large integrators from a product sales and support role and has been working in the industry for more than a decade in the eastern and southeastern parts of the US.

Dr. Holtcamp, a published researcher and industry event presenter, has nearly 20 years of swine industry experience, ranging from owning and managing a farrow-to-finish unit to serving as the staff veterinarian and supervisor of a research farm for Iowa Select Farms, Inc.
