China Lysine Weekly: Producers slash prices to entice buyers (week ended Oct 19, 2015)
Demand for lysine was poor as hog inventories have diminished due to the high releases in September. With corn prices significantly lower, lysine producers slashed prices in efforts to entice buyers to stock inventories. In Europe, price quotes for 2016 Q1 deliveries were in the range of EUR1.25-1.28/kg.
