Russian grain exports affected by rainy weather
Russia's grain shipments from the southern ports are facing difficulties because of the rainy weather.
Some difficulties with loading of grain on the ships resulted oversupply of port elevators and traffic jams of cars grain on the roads leading to ports. This situation is typical for almost all the ports of Southern Russia Ports representatives note that such kind of situation is usual for this period of year, and hope for the resumption of shipments after the weather improves.
According to the monitoring of APK-Inform Agency, between October 10-16 export Russian companies reduced grain supply by 52.7%, 261.3 thousand tonnes compared to 624.2 thousand tonnes, shipped week earlier.
