Ukraine's crop producers to negotiate sales to China


Ukraine's producers are represented by the companies Zolotyi Svitanok and Sintal'D. The two firms are interested in selling their products of corn, wheat, barley and soy in China.


Zolotyi Svitanok, according to company's Deputy Director General Ihor Kutsenko, is one of Ukraine's largest agrarian holdings managing more than 100,000 hectares of land, owning cereals harvesting and processing equipment and elevators.


In 2008 the holding became a member of the GAFTA (Grain & Feed Trade Association) and was declared A-category trader (the highest one).


The company presently exports its goods to Baltic and Middle East countries and plans to enter Asian markets.


Sintal'D, according to company's Director General Vadym Mohyla, apart from the goals to search for partners in China and enter the country's ever growing market, the firm will hold in Beijing negotiations on the possibility to buy up all the equipment line for rice, sowing and processing machines.
