China VD3: Producers stand firm (week ended Oct 9, 2023)

Producers of vitamin D3 stood firm on prices, which were near historic lows.
Export price of vitamin D3 rebounded to US$7.30/kg over the week whereas local transacted price climbed to the range of RMB52.90-59/kg.
Vitamin D3 prices are seen firm as producers are reluctant to negotiate prices. However, tepid demand will put a lid on vitamin D3 market.
