Ukraine produces over nine million tonnes of corn

Presently, Ukraine produced over nine million tonnes of corn as reported by the Deputy General Director of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.

According to the announcement, agrarians harvested corn throughout 45% of the forecast. Meanwhile grain production exceeded nine million tonnes.

The Deputy General Director noted that if grain price stays at the average level of 2011, then not only barley will be unprofitable, like in the last year, but probably wheat also.
