US International Poultry Exposition Continues to Reside in Atlanta
The Tucker-based U.S. Poultry & Egg Association's International Poultry Exposition will remain in Atlanta in 2005-2007.
The International Poultry Exposition has been an Atlanta institution for more than 55 years. According to The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), there is an approximate 20,000 attendees which contributed more than $22 million to the city each year.
"The market is fiercely competitive and a show of this size and prestige is actively pursued by all major markets," said Spurgeon Richardson, ACVB president and CEO. "It speaks to our infrastructure, service and relationship with the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association that the association has re-committed to Atlanta for another three years."
