China wants to urgently import many products from Vietnam, especially agricultural products such as grains, fruits, spices, seafood and processed meat.
Vietnamese firms can boost exports in China if they can exploit the country's potentials, said Le Hoang Anh, head of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade's Trade Promotion Department.
Vietnamese agricultural firms need to build modern warehouses, production facilities and advanced processing plants to produce high-quality products as well as boost product brand promotion in order to build business in China's market, said Dao Ngoc Chuong, deputy head of the ministry's Asia-Pacific Department.
Chuong also advised Vietnamese firms to work with well-known Chinese partners to avoid trade and financial frauds.
