Kemin appoints commercial director for animal health division in Europe

Kemin Industries has announced the appointment of Akram Talibov as commercial director for the company's animal nutrition and health division in Europe, effective from October 1, 2015.

Talibov brings 20 years of professional sales and managerial experience to Kemin, most recently as general manager at Biotechnology LLC, where he led the Greenprotein Project - a production of sunflower concentrate for animal feeding.

In addition, he was previously based in Moscow, Russia, where he managed a branch office of an Austrian feed additive company.

Talibov obtained his European MBA from Mannheim Business School, Germany, majoring in strategic management for SMEs. He received his master's degree at Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan, while also completing 18 months majoring in international marketing at Susquehanna University, US.

Talibov will work closely with Mathieu Cortyl - the commercial director for EMEA - to help achieve corporate goals in the EMEA region.
