Kazakhstan's grain harvest shows increase

 

 

As of October 12, Kazakhstan has produced 25.7 million tonnes of grain throughout the 93.7% of its planned areas this year, 12 million tonnes more than last year, according to data from the oblast directorates of agriculture.

 

The country has produced 13.6 million tonnes of grains, as of October 12 (Wed).

 

In 2011 the sowing areas of all agricultural crops in Kazakhstan totalled 21.2 million hectares, including grain sowings, 16.2 million hectares (in particular, wheat sowings - 13.8 million hectares).
