Agroli Group challenges Romanian entrepreneurs with poultry projects
Agroli Group, a food company controlled by Lebanese Agricola Holding, is to invest EUR 32 million (US $ 44 million) in the construction of 16 poultry farms for the benefit of young entrepreneurs in Romania.
Young entrepreneurs can benefit from a turkey business from Agroli Group, under a Greenfield investment project involving the construction of 16 poultry farms in Dambovita County.
The company says the farms will be equipped with advanced technology and the investment will be worth over EUR 32 million (US$ 44 million).
The first four farms will be ready in the spring of 2009, and two more are due to start operation every 2 months. All the 16 will be ready within 18 months at the latest.
Each farm will cover 7,000 square metres and will have a capacity of 132,000 live poultry per production cycle.
The project is a greenfield with an innovating entrepreneurial view. Agroli challenges young entrepreneurs who have money they want to use efficiently. Agroli will supply fully equipped farms, provide the raw materials (day-old chicks, feed etc), operating norms and will ensure sanitary-veterinary control.
The business will be a turn-key one, which will have to be managed efficiently; the finished products will be fully purchased by Agroli. An advantage for the new entrepreneurs will be that they will have the entire profit.
Camelia Hoinarescu, marketing and development manager Agroli Group explained everybody can benefit from this project. Agoli Group will provide controlled raw materials for young entrepreneurs to engage in developing a business of European style and at an European level.
The area will have other terms of comparison, people will be employed and preservation of the agricultural character of the area kept but standards of living increases.
Agroli Group, set up in 2006, owns Avicola Crevedia, Avicola Tartasesti, Jackmoris (former Avicola Goreni) and Golden Fingers, and is an integrator, particuarly in the poultry business.
