Indonesia's Sierad to construct poultry breeding factory

A poultry breeding factory in Lebak, Banten, will be built by Indonesia's PT Sierad Produce by next year with an investment of IDR350 billion (US$39 million).

Poultry director of Sierad Produce Sudirman said the new factory to be built over a 200 hectare plot of land will breed broilers.

Currently, the country's largest producer of poultry still import breeder chickens from the US and EU.
