Market analysis

China's lysine market was quiet over the week in review. Domestic buyers were prudent as hog inventories were limited although hog prices stayed firm. Meanwhile, export demands were decimated by the economic crises in the US and Europe.

In Europe, prices for Q4 order were in the range of EUR1.93-1.95/kg.

Market forecast

Lysine market is expected to stay stable due to high corn costs and the stockpiling before the long October holiday. Nonetheless, prices are unlikely to rise markedly while buyers stay cautious.
