China's Anhui province expects 9.5 billion grains purchase in 08

 

 

China's Anhui province, which is expected to see the increase in autumn grains output to 37.6 billion in 2008, is predicted to purchase 9.5 billion with borrowing demands of RMB 8 billion (September 27, 2008).

 

The Anhui branch of the Agricultural Development Bank of China, one of the three policy banks in the nation, has taken steps in attempt to guarantee a smooth autumn grains purchase.

 

So far, 316 grain companies have gained qualification of borrowing from the branch, with a maximum quota of RMB 6.15 billion in grain companies and RMB 2 billion in cotton companies.
