Aviagen connects with Philippine poultry community at ILDEX 2024 in Manila
The Aviagen® Asia team recently connected with local farmers and other members of the Philippine poultry value chain at ILDEX 2024.
Held on August 28-30 in Manila, the exhibition serves as a key meeting point for agricultural professionals throughout the country and beyond, providing opportunities to network and discover the latest innovations in poultry farming.
To empower its customers with the latest insights and technologies for maximising the genetic potential of their birds, Aviagen premiered its "Fast Forums" seminar at the show. These dynamic 15-minute presentations focused on key industry topics, giving attendees valuable knowledge and providing a platform for local farmers to engage directly with the Aviagen Asia team. These open discussions enabled the team to better understand local challenges and offer tailored solutions.
Jojo Castillo, proprietor and owner of CastleCo Incorporated, said: "I gained a wealth of information from the team, and the personal engagement during the Forums was invaluable."
During the visit of the Secretary of Agriculture of the Philippines, Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr., to the Aviagen booth, the team highlighted Aviagen's commitment to supporting poultry producers in the region by providing a range of high-quality breeding stock through its Arbor Acres®, Indian River®, and Ross® brands. These birds are specifically bred to excel in the varied climates and production environments of Asia Pacific, ensuring that farmers can always choose the right bird for their market needs, while providing balanced performance, sustainability, and welfare.
"We are deeply committed to our Arbor Acres, Indian River, and Ross customers in the Philippines and across Asia Pacific," said Dr. Rafael Monleon, business manager of Aviagen Asia Pacific. "Our diverse brand portfolio, coupled with the consistent performance, robustness, and efficiency of our birds, demonstrates our commitment to listening to our customers and providing expert advice to help them thrive. This approach has driven the popularity of our birds in the region, and strengthened our commitment to "breeding success together" with our customers."
