In line with the strong growth and development in India, BIOMIN has announced the appointment of Dr Sujit Kulkarni as Sales Director for BIOMIN India.
Dr Kulkarni is a veterinary graduate from the Marathwada Agricultural University in India and a Law graduate from Pune University. He also holds a MBA from Pune University. He has a wealth of experience working in the Indian poultry industry, having previously held commercial management positions with several multinational organisations within India. He will be responsible for the coordination of the Indian sales team of BIOMIN, key account management, and strategic marketing activities of the company.
In addition, Edward Manchester, Regional Director with BIOMIN Asia, will assume the role of interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) for BIOMIN India. Manchester graduated in Aquaculture Management from Sparsholt College Hampshire in the UK. For the past 18 years, he has been actively involved in agriculture and related businesses throughout Europe and Asia. He has trained international sales teams and has held strategic commercial management roles in key geographical territories across Asia, Russia and Europe. He joined BIOMIN in January 2011 to oversee the business in South Asia region, and he has recently acquired the sales territory of South East Asia under his portfolio. Based in Singapore, Manchester will be responsible for the overall business management of BIOMIN India.
With the wealth of experience of both Dr Kulkarni and Manchester, they will be valuable additions to the BIOMIN India team.
Dr. K.N. Ravindran, former COO of BIOMIN India has left to pursue other challenges in the Indian poultry industry. BIOMIN would like to thank Dr. Ravindran for his contributions to the growth and success of their Indian business over the last three years.
