Darunde establishes integrated high-grade beef cattle operation in Jilin

 
Darunde Agricultural Development Co Ltd is set to establish an integrated high-grade beef cattle operation in Shulan city, Jilin. The RMB1.1-billion site will incorporate rearing, slaughtering and processing of 50,000 high-grade beef cattle each year, as well as a 100,000-tonne feed plant and an R&D centre.

Construction is slated to begin on September 30 this year and complete by December 30, 2013.

Wens Group's 400,000-head hog base breaks ground in Jiangsu

 
Wens Group's 400,000-head hog rearing base recently broke ground in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province. The RMB500-million operation, which also includes a feed mill, a breeder hog farm and a technical service centre, is expected to go into operation in 2013.

Hubei's largest layer farm begins construction

    
Wuhan Jingming Poultry Co Ltd broke ground on its 500,000-bird computerised layer farm in Wuhan's Xinzhou, the largest of its kind in the province. The 360-mu farm, which cost RMB62 million to build, is expected to generate over RMB80 million in annual output values upon completion.

Sunner's broiler production line in Fujian's Guangze nears completion

 
Sunner Development Co Ltd's RMB500-million broiler slaughtering and processing plant located in Fujian's Guangze county is scheduled to go into operation in October.

Constructed since April last year, the 293-mu facility is capable of slaughtering 320,000 broilers daily and producing 192,200 tonnes of chilled fresh chicken meat each year, reaping RMB2 billion in estimated annual output values.

Jiuding plans 180,000-tonne feed mill in Hunan

      
Jiuding Group aims to build a 180,000-tonne feed production line in Huaihua, Hunan's Zhongfang county. Construction will commence in October and finish in June 2012.

Dakang opens RMB160-million hog processing plant in Hunan

       
Dakang Pasture Farming Co Ltd recently put into operation its new hog processing plant in Huaihua city, Hunan. The RMB160-million operation, which also includes 100,000-tonne cold storage and logistic facilities, is capable of slaughtering 400,000 hogs and processing 28,000 tonnes of chilled cut-up meat, 6,000 tonnes of pork by-products and 140,000 pieces of hog skins per year.

Second-phase construction, which operations entail a meat cold chain, pig haemoglobin R&D and bone-meal granular fertiliser production, is currently in the works.
