Russia's July-September grain exports expected to reach 9.5 million tonnes

 

 

Russia's grain exports volume may reach the level of 9.5 million tonnes in the July-September period this year, according to the Analytical Centre of CJSC Rusagrotrans.

 

In September 2011, in the terms of the maximum loading of the southern port facilities and increasing the supply through the ports of the Baltic countries and Ukraine, Russia may export the historical record volume of grains, 3.7 million tonnes (in August 2011 , the previous record of 3.28 million tonnes).

 

According to the forecast, the Russian deep sea ports (Novorossiysk, Tuapse, Taman) will export nearly 1.67 million tonnes of grains against 1.2 million tonnes in August 2011, the Baltic ports (including Kaliningrad) and the Ukrainian ports, 150-160 thousand tonnes.

 

Until the end of 2011, exports of grains from Russia will reach 18 million tonnes, by the end of the season 2011/12 - 24 million tonnes.
