Ethylamines are the starting materials for the production of various intermediates that are used for example in the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, rubber and coatings industries. Methylamines are versatile chemical intermediates with a wide range of applications, such as agrochemicals, water treatment and personal care. They
also prove valuable in the production of feed additives and organic solvents. BASF produces the mentioned amines at its sites in Ludwigshafen (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium), Geismar (Louisiana, USA), Nanjing (China).
