Lohmann Animal Nutrition marks first year as independent company              

The German specialist for feed additives, Lohmann Animal Nutrition, will be commemorating its first year as an independent company in October.

During its first year Lohmann has successfully implemented the separation from Elanco/LAH. The majority of global registrations have been transferred while the company has strengthened its sales presence in order to focus on its customers in the global feed industry.

With around 120 members of staff at sites in Germany and China, Lohmann is aiming at a turnover of about US$140 million for its current financial year.

"The most important factor for the smooth transition into independence was our highly-motivated work force," says managing director Bruno Kaesler. "Our name has always stood for and in the future will continue to stand for feed additives that bring real benefits for our customers."

Accordingly, the company's Technical Product Management has been expanded in order to strengthen the scientific orientation of its product range. Lohmann is also fostering the development of new products and projects, such as phytase and NSP enzymes.
