China has found no presence of melamine in liquid dairy products made since September 14.
The inspection of samples of 235 different products covered major brands such as Mengniu, Yili and Sanyuan, according to the product quality watchdog.
However, the inspection did not cover milk powder, which was the centre of this month's food scandal that saw the deaths of four children and illnesses in more than 50,000 others.
The scandal has prompted several countries to conduct tests on Chinese dairy products, initiated product recalls and impose import bans.
Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Myanmar and Yemen have recalled Chinese dairy products.
In addition, countries that have banned imports of Chinese dairy products include Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan, Brunei, Bhutan, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Gabon and Burundi.
