China's methionine import volume lowers in August
China's methionine imports registered 7,702.96 tonnes in August, down by more than 200 tonnes from July.
Average import price in August was US$4.42/kg, up by US$0.37/kg compared with the previous month.
Japan (2,358.43 tonnes), Belgium (3,460 tonnes) and France (1,250 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during the month in review.
