Ukraine's total grain yield for 2009 will reach 41.9 million tonnes, down 14 percent from this year, according to the forecast of Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers.
 

This year's grain yield is estimated at 48.7 million tonnes.

The ministers also expect grain exports in the 2008-09 marketing year to surge by six times to 22.6 million tonnes.

Total harvest of oil-bearing crops in 2009 is forecast to reach 9.91 million tonnes, up from the 9.4 million tonnes projected for this year.
