US earns US$44 million in corn, DDGS sales in conference
The value of US corn and DDGS traded at the 5th Southeast Asia Agricultural Cooperators Conference in Siem Reap, Cambodia, totalled US$44 million.
About 207,000 tonnes of US corn and corn products were sold at the event that took place earlier this month.
About 1 million tonnes of US agricultural products with an estimated value of US$335 million, based on current futures prices, were traded and negotiated at the annual event, according to Julius Schaaf, general director on the USGC board of directors.
A total of 125 industry executives, representing 92 companies and organisations from 12 countries attended the conference.
