Myronivskyi Khliboprodukt ups poultry meat production forecast

Ukraine's Myronivskyi Khliboprodukt revised up poultry meat production forecast for 2011 by 2.8-3.3% to 370,000-372,000 tonnes, Yurii Kosiuk, company's board chairman said.

He said the move accounts for better efficiency of the operation of the company's facilities.

He said the construction of a new poultry complex in Ladyzhyn is underway within the schedule. It will be commissioned at full capacity in 2013 and will produce 80,000-100,000 tonnes of poultry meat in 2013. The company expects first batches of poultry meat from the complex in 2012 already.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the company has plans to produce 800,000 tonnes of poultry meat a year by 2017-2018. It also has plans to commission two lines of poultry complex in Ladyzhyn for 400,000 tonnes of poultry meat a year before 2015.

Myronivskyi Khliboprodukt in 2010 augmented output of ready meat products by 34% to 32,900 tonnes. It earned a net profit of US$215 million in 2010 and earnings grew by 33% or US$233 billion to US$944 billion in comparison with 2009.

The Myronivskyi Khliboprodukt open joint-stock company is a vertically integrated complex of enterprises that produce poultry meat, incubation eggs and fodder, and breed bovine cattle for processing.

The company produces poultry meat under the Nasha Riaba trademark, semi-finished meat products under the Legko trademark, sausages and smoked meat products under the Druzhba Narodov, Bashchinsky and Europroduct trademarks, beef delicacy under the Certified Angus trademark, chilled and frozen goose meat, and goose liver delicacy under the Foie Gras trademark.
