Value of Argentina's oilseed exports rises 52.8% in first half of 2021
Argentina's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries reported that the value of the country's oilseed exports increased 52.8% during the first half of 2021, reaching a total of $13.1 billion.
According to INDEC data in its report on exports, the sector's sales respond to a 55% growth in the value of soybean and derivatives shipments, which totaled $11.9 billion.
External sales of corn totaled $3.744 billion, a 12.6% increase year-on-year, while those of barley totaled $622 million, an increase of 46.7%.
