Turkey's Alapala to set up feed mill in Sudan

 

 

Turkish grain company Alapala has revealed its intent to build a feed mill in Sudan.

 

The facility is expected to be opened in February 2022.

 

Alapala will build a 10-tonne-per-hour feed in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, that will include sorghum intake and storage unit, sorghum flake unit, cake grinding unit, silage handling unit, mixing unit and storage unit.

 

The company is planning on importing raw material for the production of white sorghum flakes, groundnut cake, ground straw and molasses

 

The mill will also be equipped with a remote connection feature that will help the Alapala after-sales team access the mill for technical assistance, inspection, error diagnosis, calibration and troubleshooting.
