China's imports of soy in September may reach 4.31 million tonnes, higher than the 3.21 million tonnes it forecast previously, the Ministry of Commerce said Monday (Sep 19).

The ministry also said that the country imported 78,500 tonnes of rapeseed oil in August and signed contracts to import 119,100 tonnes in the second half of August.

It predicted that the country will import 226,700 tonnes of rapeseed oil in September.
