Light trade holds lysine prices weak in China

Lysine prices slid further during the week ending September 19.

Supplies of lysine remained ample although a couple of producers halted operation. As most feed millers have cut down production volumes a few days prior to the Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, trade was slow, dragging prices lower.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were lower in the range of RMB8.40-8.80/kg.
