Kazakhstan to have record grain harvest for next 20 Years

 

 

Eugene Aman, Ministry of Agriculture's executive secretary said that Kazakhstan expects to have record grain harvest for the next 20 years.

 

He also said that a record grain harvest will increase export potential to 10 million tonnes this year.

 

Previously, the Ministry of Agriculture reported that overall grain production in 2011 was expected at 18-18.9 million tonnes. Export potential was estimated at 10 million tonnes.

 

According to the media, Kazakhstan became one of the seven largest global grain exporters, after producing a record harvest of 21 million tonnes of grain in 2009.
