Increase in DDGS imports in Thailand

DDGS imports are expected to increase to 100,000 tonnes by the end of this year in Thailand, as compared to 60,000 tonnes in the previous year, according to the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).

The US Grain Council (USGC) recently held a two-day seminar to promote the use of DDGS in Thailand. The seminars on "US DDGS Use in Compound Feed Production" in Bangkok, and Nakhonprathom, Thailand, attracted many feed industry representatives, double the number of participants last year.

In addition, the USGC visited five feed mills and provided in-house training on the use of DDGS.
