Pakistan's Faisal Chicks ventures into Parentstock with Pas Reform's SmartPro™

Faisal Feeds, an independent feed and broiler farm operation in the Multan district of Pakistan, has commissioned SmartPro™ single-stage incubation technologies from Pas Reform to launch a new Parentstock operation.

Starting with six SmartSetPro™ setters and six SmartHatchPro™ hatchers, the new hatchery is also equipped with a full HVAC installation from Pas Reform. 

Since launching the new hatchery, Faisal Chicks Pvt Ltd has seen several successful hatches, said the company's owner, Dr. Faisal Shahid (pictured, left). He expressed satisfaction with results both in the hatchery and broiler farm.

"Faisal Feeds is best known for quality poultry feeds", Dr. Shahid added. "As such, it was important to complement our reputation for quality with healthy, uniform and high quality chicks. We are achieving this with what is, in my opinion, a world class single-stage incubation solution from Pas Reform Hatchery Technologies."

Around two years ago, Dr. Shahid launched Faisal Feeds with initial outputs of 30 tonnes per hour. He also established broiler farms; with ambitions to build a complete integration, the operation grew quickly to achieve its latest development in the realisation of the Faisal Parenstock farm.

The Parentstock farm is equipped to produce 200,000 chicks per week from start-up, to supply Faisal Broiler and for sales to other farms in the region. With plans to double production within the year, Dr Shahid is already planning a second phase of expansion, with more incubators to follow.

Dr.Tan Ee Seng, Pas Reform's regional sales director, is very pleased to be partnering with Faisal Feeds in its ambitious plans.
