Excess supply holds China methionine market soft
Prices of methionine stayed weak during the week ending September 13.
Supplies of methionine were abundant while the demand softened as most feed millers have stocked some inventories.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine dipped to the range of RMB27-27.50/kg.
The break during Mid-Autumn Festival will decimate the sales of methionine.
