Australia becomes China's second largest dairy import source
Australia has become the second largest dairy product import source for China, according to Xu Hongyuan, Director of the Agricultural Product Trade Office of the Ministry of Agriculture's International Cooperation Departmentl.
The top exporter of milk to China is New Zealand.
Xu expects dairy imports from Australia to further increase in the future.
In the last three years, the average annual growth rate of dairy product imports from Australia has averaged close to 29 percent.
