China's Yurun opens processing facility in Hubei
Jiangsu Yurun Group is opening a RMB 300 million, 2-million pig slaughter capacity facility in Hubei's Hongan County.
The facility would use the latest imported processing machinery and could reap yearly revenues of RMB 2 billion, with RMB 183 million in profits.
Yurun is one of the top ten private enterprises in China
Media reports indicate that the group is also investing RMB 200 million (US$29.2 million) to build two 50,000-head pig farms in the same county.
Yurun's investment is likely to spur the development of the region's hog and feed production, reports said.
