Philippine Carabao Centre partners with South Korea to boost forage production for livestock
The Philippine Carabao Centre (PCC) has announced a partnership with South Korea's International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to enhance forage production for livestock, BusinessWorld reported.
According to a statement released by the PCC, the programme will utilise drones to conduct land surveys, which will aid in developing a sustainable forage production strategy.
The project, scheduled to run from 2025 to 2027, will focus on building the capacity of PCC technical staff and local government units involved in livestock production.
The PCC's Livestock Engineering Section, along with its Production Systems and Nutrition Section, will lead the project.
