France's Groupe Grimaud creates new layer breeding company

France's Groupe Grimaud has established a new company, Novogen, focusing on the genetic selection and distribution of layer breeding stock.

Novogen would be headquartered in Quintin, Brittany under the general management of Mickaël Le Helloco.

Novogen will offer competitive layer breeds for the brown, white and tinted egg production as well as for the conventional (cage) and cage-free alternative markets.

The company would be supported by a global sales network and tap on the expertise and experience of the technical specialists of one of the major animal breeding companies in the world.

The creation of Novogen fits into Groupe Grimaud's strategy for growth and expansion of its multi-species product range, and will strengthen its position in the genetic marketplace.
