MSD to participate in XXV World Poultry Congress

MSD Animal Health (known as Merck Animal Health in the United States and Canada) will participate in the XXV World Poultry Congress (WPC2016), including presentation of scientific data about improving bird health and performance, and an expert symposium to educate customers about approaches to protecting flocks from respiratory problems.

The WPC2016 will be held in Beijing, China from September 5 to 9.

"Protecting flocks from respiratory disease is a major focus for our customers because it improves performance and reduces the reliance on antibiotics to treat disease. We are pleased to bring together experts to discuss the state of this disease area in Asia," said Delair Bolis, global poultry business unit head, MSD Animal Health. "The WPC2016 provides a unique forum for sharing the latest scientific developments and best practices to support our customers in improving their businesses by ensuring the health and well-being of their birds."

The symposium, "An Early Start on Respiratory Protection for a More Profitable Business," will take place on September 5, 10:00–15:00, at the Intercontinental Beijing. Attendees who are interested in the symposium should contact their local MSD Animal Health sales representative.
