Ukrainian grain exports climbs in August

 

 

The grain exports of Ukraine rose in the first 27 days of August to 962,800 tonnes, according to information from ports.

 

That compared with 118,300 tonnes shipped a month earlier, the Kiev-based researcher said, without giving a reason.

 

August shipments included 511,600 tonnes of barley, which went mostly to Saudi Arabia and Israel, according to the report. Wheat was shipped to the EU and Syria and accounted for 437,400 tonnes.
