Meihua plans amino acid and fertiliser production base in Xinjiang
Meihua Group plans to invest RMB4.5 billion to build a large-scale amino acid and compound (mix) fertiliser production base in Xinjiang. When production is in full swing, the base will generate RMB5.949 billion in operating income and RMB900 million in net profit each year.

Inner Mongolia's Wagyū cattle beef breeding bears fruit
Haoxin Agricultural Co Ltd has successfully bred 163 Japanese Wagyū calves in Uxin, Inner Mongolia, using frozen semen imported from Australia last year.
The company first started frozen semen breeding, embryo transfer and breed improvement work with 256 purebred Wagyū cattle imported from Australia. It aims to expand its breeding base to 1,000 head over the next three years.

Daqing Dairy's Heilongjiang milk farm operational ready by September
Daqing Dairy Holdings Ltd's RMB350-million dairy farm in Heilongjiang's Wuchang city is expected to go into operation in September, 3-4 months ahead of schedule.
Fully stocked with 10,000 mature cattle, the farm will be ready with a 42,000-tonne annual capacity upon completion, accounting for more than half of the company's total milk production.

Murray Goulburn's Shandong dairy plant to undergo expansion
Australia's largest milk processor Murray Goulburn plans to install five new production lines in addition to the existing one in its Qingdao-based dairy processing base, the company's only overseas dairy production plant. The expansion is set to meet growing demand for infant milk powder and nutritional dairy products in China.

Muyang, Liaoda collaborate on Guangxi's 500,000-tonne feed mill
Muyang Group and Liaoda Feed Group Co Ltd joined hands in a 500,000-tonne integrated feed mill in Nanning, Guangxi province. The new plant will have the capability to produce concentrate feed, granulated livestock feed and extruded fish feed at the same time.

Jinluo's 500,000-head hog rearing base starts work in Inner Mongolia
Jinluo Group's RMB800-million hog rearing base recently broke ground in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia. The 4,590-mu site, which includes hog farms, sanitation stations and office and residential areas, will have an annual capacity of 500,000 hogs when production is in full gear.
