Lysine prices stay flat as buyers limit buying in China
Lysine prices were flat during the week ending August 29.
Although the consumption of hog feed increased, feed millers held back purchases of lysine while soymeal prices softened of late. Nonetheless, lysine producers were reluctant to lower prices amid low inventory pressure.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine stayed in the range of RMB5.30-5.50/kg.
