Aviagen Anadolu celebrates 25 year anniversary at new hatchery opening in Turkey
Aviagen® Anadolu recently celebrated its 25-year anniversary, with a celebration at a new Elmapinar hatchery in Ankara, Türkiye.
Aviagen executives joined the Aviagen Anadolu team to celebrate both the opening of the new hatchery and the anniversary.
Burak Kaleli, general manager of Aviagen Anadolu, opened the celebration, followed by president (TMEA) Tom Exley and Aviagen Anadolu hatchery manager Orhan Kahraman.
Attendees at the event were also given a tour of the hatchery, where they were able to see the state-of-the-art equipment which will assist in strengthening the efficiency of production, as well as biosecurity and chick quality. Strict biosecurity procedures are in place throughout all of Aviagen Anadolu's facilities, and are highly important to keep flocks free of disease and contamination, Aviagen said.
Ross Breeders Anadolu was established in 1999, before it became Aviagen Anadolu in 2011, and has continued to be the leading supplier in the Turkish market.
Kaleli said: "This new facility will assist us with the increasing demand for high-quality poultry breeding stock in Türkiye, which will in turn allow us to continue feeding the world with a sustainable source of protein. For the last 25 years, Aviagen Anadolu has been committed to serving the requirements of the local market. We have expanded over the years in order to meet the demands of the Turkish market, and also across the Middle East and Africa, which we export to."
