China's soy output is expected to rise 36.72 percent to 17.5 million tonnes, according to China's Ministry of Agriculture.
The larger crop is seen as China's soy planted area rose 10.92 percent to 9.65 million hectares.
Meanwhile, the country's corn output have risen despite soy eating into those areas originally intended for corn.
Corn production is expected to rise to 156 million tonnes, an increase of 4.17 percent over 2007.
This is despite areas sown for corn dropping 0.71 percent to 27.85 million hectares as farmers planted more soy.
