China VB12: Prices sink to new lows (week ended Aug 21, 2023)

With demand sluggish and supply abundant, prices of vitamin B12 broke new lows over the week.

Export prices decreased to US$11.60/kg.

In the domestic market vitamin B12 softened to the range of RMB84.10-96/kg.

Producers will be more prudent in cutting prices of vitamin B12 with the costs of production high and prices at unseen lows.
