Lityn meat factory slices H1 output by 22.2%
The Lityn meat factory in Vinnytsia region reduced the H1 2011 production by 22.23% or 307 tonnes compared with H1 2010, to 1,074 tonnes, said a company representative.
In January-June 2011 as against July-December of 2010, the enterprise reduced the production by 14.08% or 176 tonnes.
In H1, the enterprise reduced the production of meat products by 22.31% or 226 tonnes on-year, to 787 tonnes, sausages by 26.89% or 82 tonnes to 223 tonnes, by-products by 3.33% or two tonnes to 58 tonnes, and meat half-finished products by 100% or three tonnes to six tonnes.
According to the representative of the factory, the factory cut the production due to a raw materials deficit.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in 2010, the Lityn meat factory raised the production in comparable prices by 7.5% or UAH184 tonnes (US$23.01), compared to 2009 to UAH2,631 (US$328.95) tonnes.
The factory registered as a limited liability company was founded in 2002 and is controlled by two individuals.
The assortment of the enterprise includes over 40 types of meat products.
